coming here after a long time….just got the update on my mail….Hail galaxy551 though for these ROMs….tried lewa os…on my current moto defy…kinda nice Ui…but bland compared to cm9,10 or miui v4….

my old phone is with mom now on humble stock GB….she loves it except fr d battery life of course…

my updates…current ROM(s)…multi booting cm10 on nand, cm7 and miui v2 latest on SD…awesome…!!!..n we r almost close to our first custom kernels on defy…even with a locked BL…!!!!(awesome 2nd boot dev work)

BTW ..a big thnx to d knowledge from this forum and to karan especially….no longer a noon…and rather a (budding) senior member on xda….:yay:…

Am waiting to test this.
Nothing IMO has compared to Arkas 1.5 so far in terms of stability.
just tested the cyanogen 7.2 and everything reasonable except the sound when on speakerphones a bit scratchy and fades in and out a bit.

only thing i havent tested is Arkas 1.7 but i am reluctant because after a while of running Arkas 1.6 my battery stopped charging. so i had to borrow my friends battery to reflash it.

i really don’t like to have bugs on my phone, or any of my computers for that matter so fingers crossed for this one.

edit* the cyanogen 7 speakerphone problem is only limited to calls.

as i always use speakerphone in my calls as paranoid of brain cancer. lol.

at first i thought it could of been the reception problem but ive never had that happen before at my house or even this area..

so yes if anyone knows a possible fix for this problem i would be interested.

hola!!! soy de venzuela y queria preguntar,
yo ya tengo instalado el CWM recovery 5.0.2.6 y ya baje los archivos CallistoJoyos2 y LewaCallisto2.0Stable. cuando voy al CWM recovery, instalo cualquiera de las rom y despues reinicio el sitema. cuando lo voy a encender normal aparece SAMSUNG y ahi se queda no hace mas nada. yo se que dura la primera vez, pero lo deje todo una noche y seguia igual en samsung!!!!
me gustaria que me pudieran ayudar y decirme cuales son los pro y los contras!!
si tienen una respuesta, envienme un correo!!!

    yea hes flashed a rom over another and not wiping data/cache in recovery.
    
    at least thats the only way i can recreate this problem.

seria de gran ayuda que me pudieran explicar todo paso a paso asi como que archivos se requiere, que se hace primero y cual rom seria mejor!!! Y Si se necesitar algun otro achivo, seria muchisimo mejor que pusieran los links de descarga!!!
aqui en venezuela habemos muchos que estamos interezados!!!

ya hice el formateo del cache y la data hasta formtie la microSD y sigue en samsung. ni siquiera arranca el sistema!!!! help me please!!!

    sí, hay 2 versiones del CWM es un froyo y funciona con los roms más.
    
    el otro es pan de jengibre y trabaja con las más recientes, como el CyanogenMod.
    
    las roms que corren no son compatibles entre sí. si intenta utilizar mod cianógeno en el gestor de arranque froyo no va a arrancar.
    
    así que asegúrese de flashear el CWM pan de jengibre por un paquete con odin. entonces se puede flashear el cyanogenmod.zip desde la tarjeta SD en modo de recuperación.

    ya instale lewa y todo esta fino!!!!!
    lo que queria saber como lo pongo en español??
    yo se poco de ingles y me gustaria saber si se puede poner en esañol y como se hace!!!!
    tambien queria saber si esa es la ultima version? para ver si se puede hacer algo con la rotacion de la pantalla, de modo que cuando se pone en modo horizontal, gire la pantalla sin necesidad de deslizar el teclado!!!

Tengo un problemas con la rom MIUI 2.4.20, pues todo funciona bn pero cuando intento enviar un mensaje de texto la aplicacion se cierra y tampoco me llegan los mensajes de texto que me envian, si alguien me puede ayudar se lo agradeceria.
