A wild post appears

Hi guys,

Sooooooooooo…… 2016 was hectic.

I can’t even believe it’s mid 2017 already !!

I think this will just be a random post since I decide to write quite randomly.

I believe phones with HW keyboard are dead. So are small screen phones.

It’s getting tougher to root.

Also the reasons to root are getting less.

I mean, I didn’t even flash any ROM in last 15 months and that’s a record.

The phone is rooted and tweaked though.

On as personal front ,I believe I am much better developer than I was before.

Also I want to start blogging again, since it’s fun.

Maybe I will write another post sometime soon.

Ohh yeah , I am alive and kicking …

2015 in review

Yet another random post

Hey guys.

Yet another random post .

Turns out I am still alive and kicking. Pretty neat huh …Also it turns out the announcement is too late and has been shelved for good.

I will discuss the blog ,callisto and something about myself.

First about the blog.

In 2015 this blog has some 9K ish views . Not as prolific as 2012 which had around 250K views .But I haven’t really updated the blog in almost 2 years .Also this blog crossed the coveted 500K views some time back. Pretty neat for a chugging zombie blog with 150 odd subscribers.

Now some cool stuff about our Callisto.

For some reasons XDA decided to officially recognize our device. Yes sir ,after 5 years Callisto has it’s own section. Let this news sink in….

Maybe there can be more development for the 551 or maybe XDA is trolling us …hard…

This should be pretty great for everyone who still develop for Callisto.

Now something about me.

I have Xperia Active as my main device. My XMP had ribbon issues and was broken.

Also I have RedMi 2 for testing ,games and as an Internet Device. I will probably repair my XMP next since I like small devices for calling. Or I might have to look at WP phones for their simplicity.

Also ,I am moderator at XDA. That happened after my last post here. You can find me in LG section (karandpr…Usually I have an anime avatar…)

I might start a blogging again next year. Let’s see what 2016 holds for all of us.

Cleanup on Blog …

Hi !!

I am posting after a long time …

This is a Filler post/Nothing Important sort of .. …

Mostly I decided to clean up the blog …

 

About the cleanup …

I thrashed 100+ posts bringing the post count from 150+ to 50ish …

Most posts were irrelevant or out-of-date and it was getting difficult to manage them …

Thrashed all previous categories and Tags

 

Some new Stuff and Better Organisation …

New Categories include General , Team Hawks ,Arkas and Perseus and Gearloose…

There are multiple tags which should be relevant now and better aid in navigating the blog in general …

One of the major reasons for cleanup is that the blog seems to be attracting too much spam and akismet is failing to detect and block it effectively ….

John is busy probably ,but there is some reasonable activity on their facebook Page .Do check it out

I dont post on Android Forums due to disagreement with the staff …

I am sometimes on XDA in the Xperia MDPI forums …

I am rocking the Sony Xperia Mini Pro but not planning any sort development as such ….

In case you are wondering, I use NICS or xNXT ROM with Kappa kernel …Occasionally I shift to CM 9.1

Also Android Jellybean OS sucks . Big Time .

Jelly JellyBeans are still fun to eat …
